California Highlands Addiction Treatment Services

At California Highlands Addiction Treatment, our goal is to be able to offer effective drug and alcohol abuse treatment to people from all walks of life. Because each person is different, every phase of our treatment programs is specifically tailored to the individual needs of our clients.

We pour our extensive experience and excellence into everything we do to bring you addiction treatment that works for your specific situation.

Detox

Many addictive substances cause withdrawal symptoms when you stop using them. In some cases, these symptoms can be uncomfortable and even dangerous, especially for those who suffer from alcohol or benzodiazepine abuse. For this reason, we offer a medically-supervised detox program to ensure that your body rids itself of the substance in the safest and most comfortable way possible.

We treat the detox step as a significant part of recovery because it is during this time that your body and mind are adjusting to functioning without drugs or alcohol. Whether your detox is easy or difficult, it is an important step and, in many cases, must be done before you can move on in your recovery.

Residential Treatment

The residential treatment program at California Highlands involves living at our luxury facility for a time span of between 30 and 60 days. During this time, you will be participating in daily therapies and activities designed to help you address the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that make up the root of your addiction. Our dedicated and caring staff of fully-licensed professionals always make it their chief goal to make sure that your stay at our facility is comfortable and effective so that you can turn over that new leaf in lasting sobriety. During treatment, our clinicians will utilize a wide variety of therapies and modalities to help you conquer your addiction.

Some of these therapies include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: This is geared toward regulating your emotions and thoughts as they influence your behavior.
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy: This method equips you with the emotional and behavioral tools you need to deal with relapse by considering both biological and cognitive factors.
  • Motivational Interviewing: Through this therapy, you’ll connect one-on-one with a therapist to help you rearrange your priorities and achieve your goals.
  • Trauma Therapy: In many cases, substance use can be tied to instances of trauma. Uncovering this and dealing with these thoughts, emotions, and triggers through this therapy can be a vital step toward recovery.

Client Care Coordination

We understand that treatment is a commitment. Many people avoid going to treatment because they are not able to break free from obligations such as work, school, family, or legal issues. When entering treatment at California Highlands, you’ll be paired with a client care coordinator who will help you put a pause on those obligations so that you can focus on your recovery. Our client care coordination features include legal, FMLA, and short-term disability services.
